Do we have a Tayda drill template for the tone generator? I thought this required a specially milled enclosure? I can’t find relevant threads so asking here. Thank you all!

I have been storing my PCBs in trading cards sheets for a while. I also bought some sheets with four pockets (no idea what they are supposed to be for) that work for larger boards. And for huge boards single pocket. I bought from Ultra PRO and their stuff seems pretty good.

I agree with this. I think choice paralysis is a problem and people try to stay away from too many choices (sometimes subconsciously). I tend to avoid restaurants where the menu is more than two pages!

I don’t see a voltage divider with the 100k resistor unless I’m missing something obvious? If the 100k resistor was before the other network then you would have a divider, but as is you get a tiny voltage drop across the 100k resistor but not much more? The RC plus diodes networks do ground...

Did you test each buffer individually to make sure they all work?

I believe from the mystery lugs to the mystery lug of the next one (out1, in2).

So one of the other leads should be connected to the tip when no jack is plugged in and open when the jack is connected. That’s the lead you need to connect to the next one.

Do you have a multimeter? You can use it to verify which lug connects to which of tip, ring and switched ring. You may need to insert a jack in the plug to verify the switch connection.
