    Cricut Decals

To clarify, and echo what ttoliver said, the Cricut is NOT a good design tool. I would not use it for that at all. Once you have a graphic you like, it’s pretty easy to import it and get the Cricut to cut it for you. I’ve cut some very intricate shapes and it works great for that.

    Cricut Decals

I use a Cricut and it does a great job cutting vinyl. The UI is a little counterintuitive (at least to me) but it’s very simple to use overall. I watched a couple YouTube videos and had it going pretty quickly.

    Cleaver in a 1590A?

I've had a request to build a boost pedal, and am thinking about the Cleaver. It looks like I should be able to fit it in a 1590A enclosure. Has anyone tried this? (I've never built in a 1590A before). thanks

    "Ge" Diodes

But the short answer is they’re probably 1N34A.

    "Ge" Diodes

Check out the build doc for the Vulcan project at the Aion Electronics site. It’s also based on the Fox tone machine. I haven’t compared the schematics, but the build docs give some info on the diodes.

    First Project (Klon)

I started building DIY pedals less than a year ago, and have little background in electronics. So, FWIW... As a noob, I found that build docs can be really an important resource. Aion and Madbean both produce really detailed build docs. Even if you don't get a PCB there, the build docs are...

    Power I/O Module Question

Okay, that makes sense. Having the jack sit inside the enclosure alleviates the issue with precisely aligning the holes also. I think I'll try it out and see how I feel about the appearance.

    Power I/O Module Question

Thanks. I’ll check out the doc. I assumed the DC jack was this type, which I thought was meant to sit flush with the outside of the enclosure.

    Power I/O Module Question

I really like the idea of the Power I/O Module. I built an Aion kit that used this approach, and really liked how neat it made the wiring. The only hesitation I have is cutting the square opening, and also locating all the holes in the enclosure precisely. Anyone have any advice for how to...

Tayda pre-drilled enclosure for Kinetic Fuzz?

Does anyone happen to know if the Tayda pre-drilled enclosure will work for the Kinetic Fuzz? The Kinetic listing on PedalPCB isn't tagged "3 knob, Type 1" like other enclosures are that work with Tayda pre-drilled. But it looks like it should work - although I'm just going by board layout - I...

Looks great. I bought the PCB and have this in queue (although I might not get to it for a while). I really like the knobs you used.
