    Way Huge Jehu Drive

Yeah, I know they were all amps, Les Pauls, and attitude as you say. They were amazing live.

    Variable capacitor

I did a little bit of digging and stopped when it basically brought up conference papers on active component designs (which don't get me wrong, I love to nerd out and read these). There exists floating versions but it is basically two modified grounded versions back to back and cross coupled...

Thoughts on higher hfe germ fuzz faces.

I really like the Si Fuzz Faces with higher gain but the Ge Fuzz Faces I've really enjoyed going the opposite direction with low gain hFE in the 50-70 range for both.

    Whatchu sittin on? (chair thread)

Office chairs are one thing I've learned to not cheap out on, especially if you're going to be sitting in it for any length of time. I've used the same Humanscale Freedom with headrest office chair since I bought it 25+ years now. It's a tank and still looks exactly the same. From Humanscale...

    Way Huge Jehu Drive

I've seen Hot Snakes and Drive Like Jehu live, never caught RFTC. Yank Crime is a top 5 album for me.

    Way Huge Jehu Drive

Drive Like Jehu is one of my all-time favorite bands and when I saw Way Huge had made a limited edition Jehu Drive combining their two best drive circuits (Rhino and Llama) into a limited edition enclosure and named it Jehu Drive, I knew I needed to make one of my own. I used two AionFX boards...

Tayda UV Print Tool Final Update Gloss Testing

That looks really good. You consider it good enough to use it?

Marigold build - and diodes of the germanium variety...

For the Ge diode, any Ge diode should be fine. I believe, based on my googling, that the CG92H IS equivalent to an OA95 and has a Vf of about .4v at 1mA. So a D9G or D9K should work and they're easy to find on eBay or StompBoxParts. I'm sure you could use another diode type (Si, Schottky, or...

Tayda UV Print Tool Final Update Gloss Testing

I'm devastated. Here I was thinking White Test was a modded SD-1 or TS. 😭

    DEMO Polyphemus [One Knob Overdrive]

For full on crude I suggest Trouser Snake with the volume labeled as load.

    DEMO Polyphemus [One Knob Overdrive]

Love the sound and board but for naming, you could have leveraged any number of names of the original one eyed monster and kept with the SHO theme by listening to Monty Python's Isn't it Nice... maybe I need to build this and go Monty Python themed...

    Bring out yer Diptrace

Shhhh... don't give away my secret on how I'll make sure people don't steal my pedals from my board!

    Bring out yer Diptrace

Yep, @szukalski has done something like that with the attiny85 to handle the soft switching. I'd like to get there but I've got a few different scenarios of IO boards that I want to make to handle the different situations (standard pcbs, pcbs with voltage sensitive components, etc.). But I know...

    Bring out yer Diptrace

Been working on getting 3d models working in KiCAD and decided to make a simple IO board. Now to see if I can fit @PedalBuilder 's fancy 9v limiting circuit into this with smd or if I'll have to go a little larger on the pcb to make it work.

    Dylan159 Pelota2: "Grackle Delay"

I love the shirt but way too few grackles to be the HEBs near me.

DEMO War Scythe (EQD Hoof Reaper)

Awesome build! I've built this as well and between the life pedal and hoof reaper, I really think the hoof reaper is a much more fun combo.

    Muffin Factory

Yes, there are a wide variety of options in it. I managed to get everything from a clean boost to a typical big muff and a nice wooly fuzz from it.

    Muffin Factory

I have to agree, I flipped a bunch of switches and then just landed on one setting that I liked the best. It's the illusion of choice!
