Hello again everyone. I have had a breakthrough with this project. As you can see from above the Timmy into wavefolder wasn't the best idea but not entirely wasted. I dedided to create a PCB that I can add onto existing pedals to give the option of a wavefolder. I haven't made the PCB yet but...

Try connecting pin 1 and 8 of the lt1054. I have had charge pumps whine before and this has fixed it for me.

Are you sure r3 is 100k? Doesn’t look right to me but I have never seen green resistors. The red bands make me think it is a 22k.

I ave tried chrome before. It did look nice but got scratched very quickly

Hi everyone. I just wanted to know if anyone has ordered the Glossy clear from tayda? I know there is a picture but I’m sure it doesn’t do it justice. Is it just a bare enclosure with clear coat over the top? If anyone has a picture they can show me that would be appreciated

Not really. I'm in Australia. So for 2 matched quads plus shipping its about $55AUD. Plus it's something I'd like to try my hand at. And I can put those other jfets to use. I'll add more jfets to the order in that case. Thanks.Might do an order of 50.

Down anyone know how many smd jfets I should buy to get enough to matched 4 some? I am buying 20 of 2sk208 and 2n4547 each from mouser but am concerned I might need more. Does anyone know?

What phaser did you use the j201s in?

Thanks. I was going to buy SMD jfets and try my hand at matching them myself. I have a whole lot of J201 and 2n5457s. Ideally I would use these rather than buy a batch of 2SK30A-GR in order to get enough that are matched.

Hello As the heading says, I was planning on building a Boss PH-1 and wanted to know if they type of JFET was essential. Aion FX says to use 2SK30A but note that 2n5457 is the same. So could I simply use matched 2n5457s here or even J201s? Thanks in advance.

And what do you have in q5? This should be a jfet like q, but q1 and q5 look different in your pic.

I think you have the wrong value in r21 at least. Looks like a 470r not a 47r. Probably doesn’t matter but may be worth checking others

Sounds good. If you can find where the sound stops that is a huge clue.
