    King Nothing, TB no sound?

Well I removed the old switch/pcb and wired a new switch in - the old fashion way. It works. I know those pcb switch boards are SO nice, doing it the old way took a long time. But I will say the amount of heat you have to put in is a lot less for a single wire than filling a PCB hole. FWIW.

    King Nothing, TB no sound?

I agree it seems like it's the switch. I checked the switch with a MM, seems fine in both play and bypass. Next most likely is that 3DPT board, or some of the connects between them. I used a 6 pin header. I suppose next step is to take the switch and 3DPT board out and hand wire a new one in...

    King Nothing, TB no sound?

So I should remove the switch and wire in a new 3PDT the old fashion way... probably. I'm not sure if the main PCB is marked.

    King Nothing, TB no sound?

I wondered about that. So I jumpered the top left/right pins on the switch thinking I'd create the standard bypass wiring. That didn't help. So now I'm more confused than I was.

    King Nothing, TB no sound?

Odd issue. Sounds great when engaged, but in bypass mode I get no sound. I *think* this is True Bypass. What would cause no sound when bypassed?

Low Profile 1/4" Panel Mount Jacks

Digging around for 1/2 hour, I still can't find them for less than $1 each in bulk. Tayda is $0.55.

Low Profile 1/4" Panel Mount Jacks

Yeah Tayda and Amplified Parts call them panel mount, but I use them as PCB mount. I suppose either.

Q-Tune DIY Kit now available for pre-order

Production PCB's were ordered Monday, expected delivery ~July 2. This is about a week later than I had expected, but worth it. We sent out a few test kits to specific people to get feedback on the overall build experience. @Robert was one of those and gave us some great feedback. @Robert...

Low Profile 1/4" Panel Mount Jacks

I've been buying these Low Profile jacks for years, love them. I didn't realize until recently there are 2 flavors: Mono and Stereo. Recently for the Q-tune project, we settled on the Mono version... because it's switched. With nothing plugged in, it will ground the input which prevents Op Amp...

    Paragon Mini - No Sound

Gotta (probably) be somewhere between pin2 and ground. Look at schematic. Probe voltages on good side, compare to bad side. Example: junction between pin2 and R22. Also junction between R22 and C17. Etc. I checked a lot of those resistors and they look right. Might be a bad solder joint on one...

    Paragon Mini - No Sound

Please confirm you have a high side and low side gain. R20 and R30 are the same, high side. R3 and R16 are not, low side

    Paragon Mini - No Sound

I’ve made resistor mistakes before, like installed a 392k instead of 392R, can significantly after your gain stages. It’s tedious but at some point you should check each resistor color codes.

    International Customers for Q-tune kit

For any international customers, I've been thinking about a No Screen / No Enclosure option. Purchase the screen here: Waveshare with touch. Flash the screen yourself using the Web Installer. Purchase the enclosure from Tayda. Drill/UV templates provided. We'd subtract our cost of the...
