Here is a Foxey Fuzz I just finished. It’s essentially a Sun Face with 220pf cap from input to ground (under the board) and a pair of Mullard GET872. Sounds really good, the transistors have almost no leakage and the hFEs are 69-90

Sounds really good with a Klone boosting it. For years my overdrive setup was either a Klon and a Rat or a Klon and a DRV

As for the transistors, it doesn’t really exist a formula (as you can see from the wide range of gain/hFE used on originals). You need to have the sound on your head and swap...

I really recommend it! But don’t use a transistor pair you would use in a fuzz face, it needs lots of leakage to sound as a real deal MKI.5. You want low gain and high leakage! Check the voltages online
