Not quite sure I see the logic of demoing a pedal like you're auditioning for a praise band. I think with that much ambience slathered on it could be a Hot Rod Deluxe :) . Probably a lovely sounding pedal though...

I've built 3 or 4 of the Lumitrons because everyone that played it had to have it. I also respect the fact that you went to about the same amount of effort to remove flux as I did. Love the white boards but... That white hammered enclosure looks crazy nice with the gold knobs.

Thinking the bias resistor couldn't hurt. Friend of mine uses a 60's black panel Princeton reverb with this little gizmo and has made a world of difference. Brown Box .

I have this janky old Ampeg G100 that someone gave me. Needed all new electros but there's not much to these things except they're VERY neutral. It can also get uncomfortably loud. It's solid state but breaks up in a very pleasing way and I know what it sounds like so it's a good reference.
