Thanks, Erik. I was going to make a mouser order anyway, so I threw a few BC557Bs and some BC556s in there. Just didn't want to wait to build so was hoping the C would suffice. I'll socket of course maybe play around the substitutions suggested above while I wait

Can I use a BC557C instead of a BC557B? What's the difference?

Yes, the kit came with the pot, but it came with a typical, right angle PCB mount pot (not like the one pictured). It looks like the one used in the pic has straight terminals, which the board is small enough where that would work too.

Agreed on all fronts here; but regarding the vactrol, I honestly would have probably gone that route anyway even if didn't have one laying around. Don't get me wrong, I always want my builds to be as economical as possible; but I spent $7 this last week on Pepsi, so if I really want the vactrol...

Interesting comment! If layout plays that much of a role (which I'm sure you're right about), then @Robert's boards will almost always be the go to then.

I don't have the GuitarPCB board, but I love my Seabed. Other than how it sounds, one of the main things I love about it is it's simplicity; it's easy to fool around with and find the right setting for whatever sound your looking for. Easily my favorite delay from those I've built thus far.

I’ve got a nice pile of Fuzzpup boards from Fuzzdog and and a couple from madbean and moonn that are all designed for 1590A. Still haven’t decided which I’ll do next :unsure: Out of curiosity, How do you do your graphics Harry? Are they UV printed or are you using a different method?
