SOLVED Aion Xenotron : Manual control issue

Thanks! Yes that might work with some tight ledleg bending.

SOLVED Aion Xenotron : Manual control issue

I thought you and others got water clear ones, and temp fixed with paper, thus making the clear more diffuse. I haven't started building yet. Prefer to know the "right" led before soldering. If possible. To avoid having to swap leds until the pads gice up...

Merci beaucpup! I mailed him, let's see if he remembers the problem.

SOLVED Aion Xenotron : Manual control issue

Thanks. Ok, but wasn't your first a clear one? And a piece of paper would be enough to diffuse it? Thus, the replacement oughtbto be "more diffuse than glass clear"?

SOLVED Aion Xenotron : Manual control issue

I edited the post above, which of the two uncolored one is most similar as you can remember? No idea about other colors, but it seems that if it is too bright, it will not work. Paper or diffused led are two options then. No the mouser picture is just some representation I guess, but loked...

Thanks, yes I just wanted to make sure what kind @eh là bas ma got as replacement before asking Musikding for the "correct one".

SOLVED Aion Xenotron : Manual control issue

Merci! The LEDs I got are in this pic: The ones from the build doc and as you also mentioned in another thread is this one: (with reservation that it is not an exact picture, it still looks like a "clear but diffused" LED) So forgive me but I am a bit confused: Did you get a water/crystal...

SOLVED Aion Xenotron : Manual control issue

I just got the kit today. 4 green 5mm LEDs. They all are colored geeen and diffused. How to tell which one is the LED4? Or I did not get the transparent diffused one that is needed?

    What's your nemesis circuit?

How small? (Assume it goes in like a pull down resistor?)

    What's your nemesis circuit?

I have used shielded wire for builds with porential risk like flanger, phaser etc. At least on the input wire. It can be a bit of work and the signal wire easily breaks. Also the shield needs grounding in one end only in case you try this. Duo Phase I think I did them all with shielded, then had...

    What's your nemesis circuit?

Any difference where you put them in the chain order? Git - Pase 90 - amp tested?

    What's your nemesis circuit?

Thanks for the tip! I am using Truetone CS12 and CS6 and the wall socket is grounded. I also tried different power sources for the misbehaves.

    What's your nemesis circuit?

On a slight tangent perhaps: Several OD/Distortions (Morning Glory clone, Looking Glass clone, Box of Rock clone, and more) builds I have made produce a whining/whistling/(squealing) noise in some higher gain settings when last in my chain. Without chain (git - pedal- amp) it is fine and also in...

    Painted enclosures - faraday cage?

I thought scraping off paint from the screw hole in the lid would be enough for Faraday, but it wasn't so in my case. So I kept scraping the lid edge and the meeting point on the main enclosure, but that turned out to be a bit tricky since I cannot easily tell the best point for contact. In the...

    threeverb toggle and potentiometer positions

Thanks, yes I saw. I just thought one algorithm could be made to use independently of where it is put. Of course resistors and caps etc has to be there to support it, but as far as algorithm goes I thought you could program the Spring one onto eproms and then fill the other slots with diverging...

    threeverb toggle and potentiometer positions

Thanks! I guess the "spring" option in both is the same? And then it's about what you want the other two to be.

    threeverb toggle and potentiometer positions

What would be the point of building the Radium springs and not the Threeverb if radium is fully covered by it? Or does the radium Spring Eprom do something different than Threeverb Eprom? Both builds have the switch on/off/on and the schematic is the same for both builds (Pythagoras v3)...

    Chauffeur OD/Daily Driver Zener selection

Thanks @Robert, do you forsee the difference between 2.5 to 2.7 (in that "direction") as having a more profound impact compared with 2.5 to 2.4 in this case ?
