    DUO-PHASE Led light intensity

Thanks, I think that is my problem as well. The more intense one's side sounds as I would have hoped, and the more dimmed one a bit bleak. I decided to open a new thread, let's see if there are some suggestions.

    Duo Phase weaker B side

I just finished setting up a Duo-Phase build. I did the instructions from third post and link in second here, and that seems to work. I put the trimmers on pots for external control and add shields @Chuck D. Bones style. But I still feel the Blue side/first side/B-side/right from knob...

Did you manage to adjust this somehow in the end?

SOLVED Low Tide Modulator - No Output

FWIW: I have adopted a way of working to check the legs after soldering and before cutting. I DMM from a leg to the points in the schematic where they should go. Tedious? Yes. Do I find any bad soldering points or broken traces? Some, not a huge deal, but after some earlier larger builds I...

Duocast: Anyone knows how the SJ1 switch is activated in the power section?

For closure: Robert replied in another thread that nowadays pins 1 and 8 are connected and that works for either charge pump listed.

    Duocast charge pump alternatives

Thanks. Sorry for my confusion, looking at the PCB I see a trace from pin 1 to pin 8 (encircled in green). Looks as if they are connected unless I am getting it wrong... And DMM confirms pin 1 and 8 are connected. Still I would have thought as you wrote that it would be shorted to suit LT1054...

    Duocast charge pump alternatives

Three is a "jumper" SJ1 in the schematic. It is by design/default connecting pins 1 and 8 of the Charge pump as far as I can tell by looking at the pcb. How should the jumper be applied given if you use the "default" LT1054 vs some other charge pump?

Duocast: Anyone knows how the SJ1 switch is activated in the power section?

Sorry for being late, It looks as if the jumper is connecting pin 1 and 8 of the LT1054 by default. And the LT1054 seems to be the default pump. But the schematic has SJ1 open, indicating a cut. Should it be cut? Or kept to connect pins 1 and 8? Thanks in advance

Which switch for DPDT King Nothing?

Got word from Nathan from Conspiracy to Commit Electronics and he confirmed it should be on/on/on type 2 as per the picture above.

    King Nothing Low Volume

Sorry for me confusing things up. 1-2,5-6 pin setting (as with middle of a type1) would result in neither modes going anywhere, which is same as on/off/on middle pos. So it makes sense with a type2 DPDT after all.

    King Nothing Low Volume

I got reply from the designer at Conspiracy to commit electronics that is should be on/on/on "type2" as referred to earlier. And that is the one on the tayda link with 2-3 & 5-4 pins in middle. Still not sure what the difference is from using on/off/on then in this case... EDIT: All my fault...

    King Nothing Low Volume

Thanks a lot for putting all this effort in. I am a little bit leaning on trying 2 spdt and figuring out what I prefer. I am cautious on open wires, breadboard etc etc on my first 250V build. Itnis probably not 250 where I'll be messing, but still... In another forum I got feedback that Low...

    King Nothing Low Volume

I got some feedback in another forum that the two locations control More gain/less gain Normal treble/less treble. In total 4 combinations possible. (So 2x SPDT would cover all...) If you could have 3 of them, what would you have preferred?

Which switch for DPDT King Nothing?

How would you describe the three settings in terms of: More gain/Less gain Normal treble/Less treble

    King Nothing Low Volume

Thanks for checking. Yes I agree that an on/off/on would do the same as a "type 2" on/on/on would. But since it was important to get the proper one, I was suspecting a type 1 was called for since that would have mattered circuit wise. More and more is pointing towards either type 2 or an...

    King Nothing Low Volume

Decided to move my specific question to a thread of its own https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/which-switch-for-dpdt-king-nothing.23317/ Asking if anyone can check the pinout of the DPDT. No need to activate, power on etc. Just need to remove the backplate and check continuity for middle position.

Which switch for DPDT King Nothing?

I have a humble request for those who built the King Nothing. I have read schematics, checked Tayda link and asked around to try and understand what type of DPDT swich to use. On/on/on is clear, but it comes in two different topologies: The naming of which one that is "type 1" vs "type 2" is...

Compulsive/ generated need buying from Das Musikding: was a mistake?

I have bought more than 45 kits from Klaus and several more in components for vero/strip board. If there have been any issues he has been very helpful and serviceable if anything is missing or if it takes longer than expected. I am very happy with him and would recommend Das Musikding. Customs...
