    Simple high pass filter question

Just wanting to do a simple high pass filter that is passive and would be in its own box. Goal is -6db at 90hz. Which i can get close enough here. Do I need to use Rin and RL ?

    Hydra delay - no signal

Here is the schematic. https://docs.pedalpcb.com/project/PedalPCB-Hydra-Schematic.jpg I would first do the clean previously mentioned. Then i would audio probe to see if you have signal entering the fv-1 and go from there. Double check all your values etc. those mlcc’s are easy to get...

Thoughts on higher hfe germ fuzz faces.

Hadnt thought of trying that good to know as i have plenty in that range.

Thoughts on higher hfe germ fuzz faces.

I use a trim pot with a bias pot. I will throw one on a breadboard, I’m just curious what people have experienced with them.

Thoughts on higher hfe germ fuzz faces.

Obviously I can socket/breadboard which I’m going to do anyways. Just curious on what others have experienced with q2 hfe being 150-170. How much have you raised q1? Normally i do 70-85 q1, 120-135 q2. Have you ran into bias issues? Im assuming its a bit more compressed? Just...

    Pedal Faceplates

Well yea it does require a computer.

    Pedal Faceplates

The sheepylove diptrace library has faceplate templates and you really don’t even need to learn diptrace to use them. Costs about 5$ to order a batch of 5 faceplates from Jlcpcb. Id look into this

SOLVED Green gage mercurial boost two in one oscillating at high gain settings

Actually you have to have the boost cut way boosted too for it to do it. Maybe its just the nature of the beast

SOLVED Green gage mercurial boost two in one oscillating at high gain settings

Just the combo, i thought about pulling the charge pump. And just attaching pin 5 to ground and see if it goes away

SOLVED Green gage mercurial boost two in one oscillating at high gain settings

So this is oscillating at higher gain settings. I incorporated an order switch so there is plenty of wiring in there. The oscillation stops when you play, and comes back when you stop. It almost seems like the whine from a fake charge pump. This is like #22 used from a batch from digikey...

    Jlcpcb and tariffs

Well a temporary break. 80$ in shipping/tariffs for my 220$ tayda order earlier this week was annoying.

    Jlcpcb and tariffs

I don’t think this effects the de minimis changes (anyone know?) Which for us hobbyists has the biggest impact.

MY KINGDOM FOR A 10uF 25V CAPACITOR! (three actually)

This is exactly why i periodically and pay way too much for a resistor or capacitor at the one local electronics shop still open.

    Your favorite silicon transistor?

It could be a result of the bias. For the collector of q2 replace with a trim pot and fine tune from there. Id look there first then elsewhere

I see the glory hole is sold out? Revision inc? 🧐🧐🧐

    Benson Ge Preamp schematic

Benson has patented their germanium circuit design to my understanding. The say they do the temperature thing. So its kind of a no go for putting out pcbs etc of.

Anyone got a starter kit they have used and liked, not music related per se

I ended up ordering the mega r3. Figure we’ll play around with some led displays and go from there. Thx all
