i have a TS->triad fuzz combo that i almost have finished. my goal was the durham crazy horse heavy overdrive with a bias/sag knob. great info in this thread!
took me over an hour on the captain bit, then maybe 20 min on the octaclave. i think i used half a little roll of desoldering braid. that day i learned about the primary side of transformers! both pedals work great so i can't complain!
i socket everything but i'm learning fuzzes require a lot more attention to components than i generally enjoy. once i finish the FV1 dev board i think that's more my speed...
awesome build, i love the graphics and cool little details you snuck in there. great example of their work on the enclosure so i may check that out once i have the energy to work on graphics. very excited to build one of these tube guys.
Yeah! it's probably not an ideal spot for the switch, but I didn't want to risk kissing up against the board for this build.

Short version, I like this pedal and there's not a lot of bad sounds in there, but I think I need to stray from the path in terms of biasing and just use my ear. I LOVE the biasing pads, thank you @Robert!
finished mine yesterday, i'll try the Q1 misbiasing. it's a nice sounding pedal but to me there isn't that much difference between bias modes. AND this is the first time i've actually biased with the meter! the little bias pads made it so easy, so thank you @Robert for finding the space to...
