Oh interesting! I hadn't seen that For those who are interested, Reeves Electro commented on the Dirtbox Layout page saying that the 470pf cap was "about 10 times too big", ie the real value is 47pf.

Wired up the stripboard with my layout, installed it in the guitar and it's sounding great! Of course I did wire the pots backwards 😁

Enclosure for a Paragon Mini that I'm going to build! Spray it with black metallic-ish hammertone paint to get some texture. I was planning to shoot purple over top like the King of Tone but I'm not sure... What color do you guys think it should be?

This is my second stripboard build, a Reeves Electric Zo, their take on the silicon Zonk II fuzz. I used a layout from Dirtbox Layouts. Great sounding pedal! For transistors I used a pair of 2N2222s at around 200hFE. The Zo has really nice clarity throughout the sweep of the Drift (gain/fuzz)...

Oh I see. I watched a video where they said that when using a germanium transistor in this circuit that that resistor was not necessary due to the leakage, does that sound reasonable or no? I originally had a 1M between the base and collector, but liked the sound better when I took it out.

The past weak or so I've been watching/reading up on breadboarding and the Electra distortion circuit. Yesterday I breadboard the basic version (my first breadboard pedal) and then a modded version taking cues from JHS's "Shrieking Eel" Electra variant that he built on his youtube channel...

Update: I found the issue, my volume pot was not connected to ground correctly! And my diodes were also not connected to ground
