    Better Way To Cut Stripboard?

Same here, I use a file before sanding.

    Yes, it does.

    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

As a frist quick try apply "graphite" by rubbing the contact on the PDB with a soft pencil. Measuring the resistance can also narrow down the problem.

The other half of these TEKO cases has folded edges that stabilize the whole case. But indeed, most foot switches could be softer.

    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

Full DIY build. Due to the shortage of 125B cases I switched to TEKO B4 (1mm aluminium), which are slightly larger. Spray paint sticks much better on them too. I guess this is the beginning of a long lasting friendship. Feel free to suggest matching knobs.

    Mellow fuzz

Still hoping that somebody has a "closer look" at the Landau Density Matrix.

Do you prefer lead or lead-free solder?

Lead free solder made repairs much more difficult, but SMD parts are worse.

Can I tent/combine any of these values to make 750R?

Need uncommon resistor values? This site suggests suitable combinations: series/parallel approximator

    Updating build thread (mostly vero/p2p)

IC2 functions as buffer, the distortion is build around IC1. The LM358 has a much slower slew rate than the TL072, which basically cuts off all high frequencies. Try a TL052, NE5532 or JRC4558 instead.

    Aged Carbon Film Resistors

Reminds to those resistors that I desoldered from scrap pcbs when I was a teenager. I guess "aged" reads "stored for decades in a room without air conditioning".

I thought the "Skeptical Buffer" would be easy, because there aren't many pedals without potis. And the fork was on the cover of "Songs for the Death". The "raw" one has been finished for some months already and without the labels it would have been to hard to guess. Anyway, I will get back to...

    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

Last three pedals finished: Taqueria, Skeptical Buffer, and Stone Age Distortion. The later two have extra features: The Low switch on the Buffer can toggle between Ground, 1µF, and 2µF ("Bass"). The switch on the Distortion selects between the original LEDs and a pair of 1N4148.

    What's on the workbench?

Speaking of fuzz, does anyone have "insight" into the Farm Pedals Landau Density Matrix? According to their own description based on a Black Russian Muff. Again one of the pedals that simply gets unaffordable considering shipping, import tax, and VAT :(

    NOTAKLICHÉ PCB - Arriving Soon!

Not neccessarily an odd idea. It still affects the sound. I've done that to a Rat clone using toggle switches to add various kinds of diodes (1N4148, red LED) in parallel.
