    106NU70 Germanium Transistor Equivalent

Qh. that likely just means that USPS has it. I don't think they have visability to it after handover and for all intents, the Ukrainian post has delivered it, to USPS. Give it a few more days.

Using 2 pcbs to make a stereo boost pedal

You'll want to get a few pots to find the one with the closest mathing wafers 16mm pots have a tolerance of 10-20%. That's a lot when dealing with stereo image.

    Lead free solder?

Assuming it's K100LD, you are wasy too hot. Probably burning off the flux. Kester says 441F Not sure if it's 48 or 275 flux but yeah, probably burning either off before it does the job. Buuuut, it looks like kester only has this offered by bar now. Which likely means they deamed it only good for...

    106NU70 Germanium Transistor Equivalent

Is the tracking to your address/city? Sometimes those guys, like Ali, will ship multiple orders to a handler/middleman, to be broken down and split up. My guess is you'll see a shipment from Florida or Jersey in your mailbox in a few days

    Best alternative for RC4559P IC?

5532 or any decently low noise spec dual 072 would work in a pinch. I don't think the cast iron is clipping the opamp at all so even a r2r "hifi" amp would do. Not getting a ton of impact from the opamp in this circuit, I would think.

Why does nobody use these outtie DC jacks?

there is one other benefit to these--more of a beneficial flaw. If that nut falls off, the jack deposits itself into the enclosure forcing the user to fix it or get it fixed by someone. If an innie nut falls off, many will keep rocking that shit until a wire breaks or it starts shorting the...

    Tape Saturator Build Part 2

Best price is see for U$D Look like EF14 or whatever 600:600 ($1) transformers in a mumetal case 60hz-2k flat response. Nothing special.

    THAT4301 Substitute?

I would go with a 5532 over a 4558. Much better noise specs. Or an OPAxx with ≤3nv/hz. Haven't looked at the schem but with gates being often first in chain, better noise specs are better. 4558/1458 are LM741 architecture. They still have their place, but low noise isn't their forte.

Well That's One Way To Hide An IC

That trace under pin 14 could maybe go to a via in that "ground plane" and be filled with solder? Looks to be solder flowed on it.

Well That's One Way To Hide An IC

Looking at the TE circuits for something with a pair of diodes, there's the square wave shaper Maybe this is it, but with the Schmidt triggers and filter mixed in. Or was it established this is a single opamp/386. Curious if one side of those diodes goes to one of the greenies attached to ground.

Well That's One Way To Hide An IC

Maybe there is a ground plane? See if the floating pads have zero resistance to Vcc or ground.

Well That's One Way To Hide An IC

I really doubt that is more than 2 layers. the tell-tale would be via that don't connect to a trace on the other side of the PCB .
