Ok found the answer, check this video out. Very helpful.

Try putting a couple of BAT41's in the Southland, or low vf GE diodes. Makes it a really nice alternative to the Lightspeed.

This is a necro bump but I'm building this pedal and I don't get an HFE reading using the above method. My DCA75 gives me back 2 diodes. Have you tried this?

I still have a Barber Direct Drive V2 that I bought in the early 2000's. One of the very few retail pedals I own. This version, the Candid Drive, adds some bells and whistles but is still basically the same drive. An under-appreciated MIAB pedal IMO. Nice job on the win!

That sounds pretty killer to me! I actually have a Buzzaround (GNAT) on my desk right now next to a DAM FS77 from Sheepy Love (build report pending). The FZ77 is a basically a TB MKIII. It's a bit more polite than the GNAT but the DNA is there in both pedals.

Definitely going to need to hear a demo if this! What pickups?
