I'm looking for ways to stremline my workflow. Not that I do any kind of production work but seeing how others have their work benches configured would likely give me some ideas.

Doing an enclosure justice takes wayyyyy longer than building the circuit. One day when I'm smart I'm I'll build my enclosure first. Then I'll decide what circuit to put in it.

Measure your LDR's to get a set that are equally matched. The tolerances on these are kind of all over the place.

This issue is occurring on channel 2 and the bad cap was on channel 6.

I recapped my Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 as one of the caps was bad. Whole I was at it, I replaced all the power regulators too (LM317LZ) On one channel the voltage drops from 9.2~ to anywhere from 3.5v to 4.5v. Could this be the bridge rectifier going tits up?

Well, I picked up a decent print of Tubular Bells at a garage sale Saturday. After a run through my record cleaner I just gave it a spin. Not my cup of tea so may have to put on some Jeff Beck or Art Blakely. Decisions.

Shit, I've been doing all wrong. I have Crayola brand markers in my cupboards. Frankly I didn't get the appeal and the staining on my tongue and lips was getting problematic. I've got a Crayola 64 box on order now. Does anyone have a preferred color?

I've noticed on the Tayda powder coated enclosures the screw holes can be a bit tight. Didn't realize the screws were soft enough to snap off. I'll chase the threads before inserting a fastener from now on.

I assembled a Guvenator recently and over all I am very happy with it. I'm building another one and rather than PCB mounted pots I'm going to fly leads to the solder lugs. The reason I'm doing this with the pots is because I want the controls laid out like you would find on a Marshall amp...

I saw another Daydream build where the regulator was in opposite of what I did. I went by the image screen printed on the PCB. I'll flip it back to how I had it originally. I did reflow all the joints so maybe that was the original issue. I'll post back the results.
