    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

The bike stuff looks like next level shit. Is this a thing, like are a bunch of other peeps doing this stuff? I had only a short bike involvement with a mediocre Trek I inherited from my wife. I was always a fan of the Felt stuff but know next to nothing about this. Even though I don't ride...

    Electrovibe Build w/Monk Mods

I need to revisit this. Two of the things that the Helix (sorry but it's my main rig these days) doesn't do are: Vibe. It does some of the wacky yoy-yoy Hendrix Machine Gun stuff at a less than convincing level but it blows at getting the sheer evil wobble of say...Trower, especially in his...

My pedal building is going to go slow. Got myself an injury.

I once bit my tongue so bad it required 6 stitches. The doc that sewed me up found out it was just from chewing gum and walking. He mentioned I should claim it was during sex. And that I didn’t bite it. Best of luck with the thumb!!!

Champ Amp 2 Prong Replacement And Others

Thinking the bias resistor couldn't hurt. Friend of mine uses a 60's black panel Princeton reverb with this little gizmo and has made a world of difference. Brown Box .

Aw that Traynor is killing me. Was always an underrated amp.

Share YOUR music! (full tracks, clips, demos, loops, jams, whatever)

Lovely stuff there. It's kinda cool how ambient stuff like this almost forces your brain to conjure images to match the soundscape.

Excessive microphonics in a guitar & PUs

Interesting read in Premiere Guitar mag with Dirk Wacker doing a cheapo guitar rebuild just to prove a point. It's been going on for the past 4 or 5 months and he's a bit of an expert in sorting out telecaster noises and microphonics. Might be able to cull some tips from his articles. They're...

    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

The VC50's are SERIOUSLY (OK I won't do that any more, it's way too Trumpy) cool amps. I repaired tons of them but just don't see them anymore. They had a tendency to cook themselves and St Louis Music support was really good until they weren't and then they were gone. Crate's should still be...

    Nova Vibe - Aion Straylight

That's some of the best results I got too was the Hammonds. The powder burned off very clean and sharp.

    Angine de Poitrine

I'd think "ew feet" but one of my fave players was Roger Fisher with Heart and it was sort of his trademark. This is definitely not in my wheelhouse and it sort of reminds me of the corporate rock days of the 80's in concept but I'm also an old curmudgeon. Hey, if it works and makes money run...

    Nova Vibe - Aion Straylight

Very nicely done and the laser work on the enclosure is razor sharp. Is that bare metal or backfilled?

    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

I was never a fan of the milk box but think I have it kicking around somewhere so will have to revisit, perhaps at 18v.

    What's your current headache?

One of the things I miss now that I live in the city is peeing in the back yard with the dog. Then again I suppose peeing in the middle of the sidewalk in the middle of the day would be considered fairly normal around here...

    SMD JFET soldering Demystified

Great vid and the line “The Brazilian accent is because I’m Brazilian” wins the internet for the day :)

    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

Definitely wishlist worthy. The CP9Pro+ appears to be in the $150-200 range in the wild. This one was a rush job so didn’t get much of a look at the board. THAT chips but didn’t notice the voltage doubling circuit.

    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

Customer pedal. Just needed a new DC jack. Holy mudder o' gad this is a nice sounding comp.
