    Like... it's like cooking, its' recipes not magic... My fave recipe I've found... Make a PPCB chop shop, follow the whole "you need certain value JFETS in the positions for this one" advice. It's good. Read about the SS/BS mini, realise it's the same topology - so use the same spec JFETs...

    So I know nothing about Brian and Wampler don't really make pedals popular on bass so I know little of his work (goes to check I've not forgotten something bass players like) but the adverts running on social annoy me... Now I have no reason to doubt these are the best pedal building online...

    I know it’s kinda against the ethos of diy scene, but if I were the OP I would just have two boxes rather than try and mangle a new sushibox! I’ve had enough mods go wrong to know sometimes it’s not worth it

    It would be so so much easier to build and run a fdeck HPF into the slampeg - get the buffer at 10M, the HPF, phase…. Dual lock them together if it has to be one thing!
