I never really cared for the Honey Bee. I tried to like it but just wasn’t for me. I’d like to try more of his designs. I have the Splendiferous drive but haven’t gotten to it yet. Also have the Fuchsia Fuzz but need to find the proper germanium transistor for it.

Put mine on the protoboard last night and it’s a nice sounding drive. I’ll have to try the 763 I suppose.

I think I’m gonna get some computer dusk spray and go over the top and bottom of the board thoroughly.

I only replaced that output jack and reflowed a couple joints on the switch daughterboard and its adjacent holes. That does look a little suspect. I’ll resolder it and see if that helps. Thanks!

I replaced that jack with my normal jack thinking that was the problem but that didn’t work either.

Update on my flux usage. Lately I’ve been using the ChipQuik no clean liquid flux and it’s far less sticky/messy. I wish they gave you more than one tip though as the tips start to lose shape pretty quickly. Kinda makes me wanna try the Chip Quick solder now.

What’s the Plexamp and Vibe based on? Are they original circuits or like a plexi-drive and the depths? I was considering the dark side of the moon one at one point but already have all the pedals in it. Would still look cool though not nearly as cool as Schu-Tones
