Is the tube getting hot? It should be too hot to keep your finger on.

It also looks like your guitar cable plugs/jacks might be shorting out on the board.

How long did you have the pedal on when you tried it? I've read some posts where tube pedals could take several minutes for the tube to heat up enough to work.

All this talk about Type 1 and Type 2. Has anyone here actually looked for a Type 1 switch? I did recently and only found them at Tayda, everyone else has Type 2. This included reaching out to several vendors on Ebay.

I hate to make assumptions so will just ask-have you adjusted the trimmers? The one on the right appears to be maxed out and the left "VOICE" trimmer appears to be fully ccw.

APD=Amplified Parts Direct, a different vendor than Amplified Parts. But they both apply here. I believe you're arguing symantecs here. They are ALL passing the higher cost to us, the consumers. My point here was  how they are passing them on. Mouser, here in Texas, is pretty transparent...

Clamping the workpiece to the table is much safer than trying to hold it by hand. Deep-throated* F-Clamps work well for this. *can't wait for the comments... :ROFLMAO:
