Pretty sure I have a few legit xvives somewhere. Can do a breadboard comparison at some point. But they are so cheap, they're worth a shot I think.

I have a bag of them but haven't built anything with them. A week earlier and I would have sent you one. Let look legit. I'm guessing they're likely bad batches that aren't within spec but it may be a case where whoever was contracted to make them for xvive or whomever just kept making them.

Make sure vref is 1/2 Vcc. Make sure you have no cold joints/reflow if needed. Increasing R4 and R8 a little should add some volume but you don't want to add to much or you may clip the opamp. But you should have a gain of 2.1 or so already. Note, this pedal may not drive a long cable well due...

It's not linked in the build doc because they're no longer made/stocked. Jamco and I think amplified parts have some listed but they seem to be the same lots as some fake ones on eBay. Not impossible to find, but also easy to get a fake. Just get a OP07 unless you need it to be super authentic...

Seems as though there's something off with the clock, an astable multivibrator circuit Double check the transistors and cap values for that section. No PNPs and NPNs swapped or nf value caps where pf value caps should be.

That's progress. Have to get the clock sorted next. Make sure when taking the clock measurement your one probe is on ground the other probe is on the source. @Scruffie Any tips on debugging this clipped oscillator kind of clock?

Pin 9 should be closer to -15 Try measuring the frequency at pins 1 and 4 Should be somewhere between 5k and 500k, depending on settings, square wave between 0v and -15v May be good to check you meters max readable frequency and turn the rate/speed down on the pedal.

You're using a +-15 converter? Does you DMM have a frequency count/Hz function?

Do you have an oscope to verify the LFO is functional. What min/max clock speeds are you getting? Also, is the internal trimmer to the right of the left footswitch jumpered out?
