That's what I figured. I didn't see it in the pictures though. So you actually have 6 wires from the pilot. 2 to pre, 2 to power and 2 to the board, yes? Edit: Now I understand, you have 4 wires, 2 to all the tubes in a series, routed under the board and 2 to the board.

I see you grounded your heater wires at the pilot light. Is there a particular reason for the location? There is a lot of room so I can see why you might. Also, I don't see any green wires to the power tubes. Where did you run that from and to?

I think we're getting close. The only missing piece is a tag board to split AC1 and AC2. 2 lines to the DC mod pcb holes and 2 lines to the other v3, v4, v5, v6, etc. Maybe run 3 of each, two to the board, and 2 each to run a parallel series for each set of tubes. Just thinking out loud.

It does make sense as far as to mod goes, but what about all of the other sockets? Where do they get their heater power from?

Hi Phil! I'm starting the same project and I'm having trouble understanding the DC mod and heater wiring. You don't happen to have a drawing of what actually hooks up to where do you? I know how to wire the heaters in a normal fashion with a faux ground, but the DC Mod and elevated heater thing...
