Powersound Overdrive boost overload on B10k issue

Ok that makes sense. I'm probably going to pick up the Powersound Boost as well. Does that have the same gain scenario?

Powersound Overdrive boost overload on B10k issue

Changed out the B10k with the C1k. Worked like a champ. Pretty new to building and just curious as to why you suggested the 1k value instead of replacing the B10k with a C10k? Thanks!

Powersound Overdrive boost overload on B10k issue

I built the Powersound OD without the build docs being posted since all the values are printed on the circuit board. It works fine except there's an explosion of gain and volume at the 9.5 tail end point of the Drive knob. Perhaps I should have waited for the build docs assuming there was going...

    Good deal. Thx

    4 Knob Stellar/Celestial Drive

Or maybe I should say, has anyone on the forum traced the 4 knob version?

    4 Knob Stellar/Celestial Drive

I saw where Robert mentioned how he got the 3 knob Stellar Drive traced but couldn't get a hold of the 4 knob. It's such an outstanding pedal. Does anyone know of a 4 knob clone. Blending with the clean knob seems to work brilliantly.

    Soldering Belton Brick

I just looked through my bag of sockets and realized I have a couple of those 14 sockets. What did you use to cut those down to size? Maybe a hacksaw blade?

Ok, thanks for the links. I'll get on it.

    Soldering Belton Brick

I'm about to solder my first Belton Brick in place on the Gravitation Reverb. I've seen the term "leaf socket" mentioned but not really sure what that socket is. Definitely sure that I don't have one on hand. Would prefer to solder straight to the board but want some feedback from some more...

    Tracing/troubleshooting a circuit with a MM

    Ha, great idea. On it.

    Tracing/troubleshooting a circuit with a MM

Ok, thanks to both of you. I've had about a dozen successful builds but a couple of duds. I'll put these suggestions to use and see if I can sort them out.

    Tracing/troubleshooting a circuit with a MM

Hey there, new to the forum. The Test Kitchen has some great tutorials which I've gotten a lot of good info from. But I was also hoping to find a tutorial on how to trace/troubleshoot a circuit from input to output with a MM. I may be overlooking just such a post but can someone direct me to...
