    Harmonic Percolator for life.

Park and Ride – trim pot looks like there are 5 contact holes?

It's to accommodate 2 different trimpot sizes. Just making sure you know in case you didn't pick up on that already.

    SOLVED Diezel VH4

Once you get that thing working, you're going to love it. It seriously rips!

What made you a good guitar player?

The 1st looping pedal I bought. My playing exponentially got massively better once I bought one. Now I use the boss rc300 and having 3 separate tracks has taken me to another new level, of confidence, and POWER!

    Highest Headroom OD

I actually really like the gain with the standard pot. In the future, I may wire up the alternate pot to see if I like the range in gain more.

Your best/favorite high gain pedal combo's of today

Totally agree about the VH4. Got a recommendation to build that from here and I was totally surprised when I plugged into it. It's now one of my favorite circuits. Also run it into an Archibald which I also love. I added a GPCB Stage 3 boost to the Archibald and between the VH4, Archi, and Stage...

    OC75 is this a fake?

Well........the specs you have are close to where they should be. As everyone always says, "Does it at least sound good?". If so, alright alright. OC75 hfe range is 20-80. Leakage is all across the board with germanium, as you know.

Tayda KE-10720 LDR very out of spec. 50 ohms bright, 2 Meg dark! (Solved)

How do you test LDRs to get their actual specs? DMM or TC1?

    2N5485 alternative (muffler)

I second what @Laundryroom David said about Barry at GPCB, never had a bad part. Just stocked up on a bunch of j201's. Wish he still had j113, I got one of the last orders from him when they were available.

    CA3260

Haha! Just checked my email........wasn't a total idiot. Now I just gotta find 4 nsl-7532's (impossible) and I'm off to the races.

    CA3260

I gotta remind myself that all the time. But then again, I'm a one man band and I record music to listen to while I'm in my shop at work. I ordered a CA3620 for the hell of it. Just got a promotion at work and $6 beats a Ferrari.

    CA3260

Yeah I read the CA3260 datasheet and looks like I can replace it with a few lil guys I have. Appreciate the substitute suggestions!

    CA3260

Awesome, thank you! I'll kick around the idea after I build the circuit and use something else.

Anyone know where to get one of these? eBay is the only place popping up and my trust meter is lagging.

Wow @Fama, thanks! I've got a lot to go on to check out. Really appreciate that!

    Missing Build Docs / Schematics

Schematic for the Nutty Fuzz? Curious as to what resistor is tied to the LED for the LRD so I can experiment tweaking that value.

Recommend me a pedal to sound like Tool

So I snagged a Valhalla board after reading this thread and just finished building it tonight. Holy moly do I love this circuit! I play mostly funk, blues, and jazz. Even though this is an extreme distortion circuit it sounds incredible and I'm super happy with it. Really appreciate the...

Pedals where 18v is *actually* worth it??

Would love to hear about your results with the Tso. Absolutely love that pedal, so much so that I've built two. One with the LDRs and one with vactrols.
