Bathtub Reverb - tube-driven digital reverb

Cool info I only tried the liquid blues and I thought it ripped. Cant remember how much power it took but it had a huge external transformer. That “Glass Nexus” and original “Timeline” would be great to try. Honestly wish the re-release some of these in smaller form factor. Looks like Warm...

Bathtub Reverb - tube-driven digital reverb

@vigilante398 hope you didn’t take my comment the wrong way. I understand this takes time and that you have to pick the best for cost and time constraints etc..I appreciate what all you do. I’m by no means advanced enough to do that. I’ll stick with what I have or get one of the UAs or a...

Bathtub Reverb - tube-driven digital reverb

Dang I hate to hear that. I’ve always wanted a tube comp not sure why. I didn’t know I was based on that circuit. I used the LA2A comp alot to beef up the final mix before having mastered. A lot on vocals as well. I’m very tempted to get one of the UA LA2A or 1176 comps. g

Bathtub Reverb - tube-driven digital reverb

Would you be able to tell it’s tube driven seeing that it’s a chip? Is it buffered? My effects loop isn’t buffered and has digital reverb in parallel with loop. Supposedly. Bad Cat Cub 40r. If buffered and sounding like real spring I could use it. Otherwise I was planning on sticking a vampire...

    (Actual) 3-Channel ParaMix

I have a signal blender to compare this too. Can also take some pics if wanted/needed when it arrives.

Benefit of a TRRS output on a blend pedal

Stumbled upon an affordable problem to my solution. If made well, if needed I could use one for each amp and still have some change left over. I take a peak when it gets here.

    (Actual) 3-Channel ParaMix

Check this out. Looks like a wallet friendly Signal Blender clone with series or parallel routing. Since there’s a 12$ off coupon I ordered one. I’ll confirm if it behaves/sounds/or rather doesn’t make a sound when it comes in. Actually doesn’t look that bad. Might be a minute before it gets...

Benefit of a TRRS output on a blend pedal

Good catch! You got me on the timing for the Doppolas, Dynachord and CE2. He used a CE2 often at the very end of the chain into one amp only. Set very low in the mix. You really barely notice all this on the official Pulse mix but it’s pretty wild on some other unofficial recordings. To be...

Benefit of a TRRS output on a blend pedal

Man you got me wondering now. I’ll have to double check that. There’s for sure a Doppolas type effect where you can mix in the intensity and it’ll rotate drum and tweeter from one amp to the other. I’m sure I’d be fine with it as a mono signal. I would like dedicated time delay for each amp but...

Your favorite sushi box fx pedal to date?

Just an update on the PA tube swaps. First I put in a 12at7. The sound was clear and boosted. Tone controls had more range-but, I believe I might’ve put a bad 12at7 in there. Something was off about it. I could hiss with the gain turned all the way down but as raise it the hiss would go away...

Benefit of a TRRS output on a blend pedal

Yes. I know it sounds over complicated but I’m a Gilmour fan lol. He’d mix rotary low in the mix a well as seperate delays set to different time in parallel so it didn’t clutter the sound

    PPCB Indiana Deluxe Overdrive (wow)

Nice I have a Particle Accelerator too. I just put a high gain JJ 5751. Im talking like 90/90. It’s basically a 12ax7 but it doesn’t break up much at all and you can use the tone controls a little more but it’s still bass heavy. Yea I bought a couple menu diving multi effects but never used...

Benefit of a TRRS output on a blend pedal

That’s strange. Basically useless huh. I have 2 stereo pedals both with 2 in and 2 out that send different signals out each output. They’re digital of course. I wasn’t to be able to use them wet only and blend in the right amount and send each out to 2 separate amps. One of them is rotary and...

Are you running all of this into an IR pedal or some fancy device. I’ve yet to venture into the IR or amp emulation field but it would be nice to have an IR pedal at the end of my chain that I could just hook headphones up too. Aux in for jamming would be preferable

Benefit of a TRRS output on a blend pedal

Yes sorry I meant Tru-Loop. Could’ve sworn at one point it said TRRS or maybe I saw RTS and thought stereo capabilities. What is an RTS jack is now the question. I did get another pic though. My apologies if I wasted anyone’s time.

Benefit of a TRRS output on a blend pedal

According to the manual the pedal in question has a TRRS output. I thought I had more pics of the guts. I’ll try to find one showing the output jack itself. It may be a typo in the manual but I’ve always wondered if you could use a stereo to dual mono

Benefit of a TRRS output on a blend pedal

What would a TRRS output provide over standard output on a single true bypass/wet/dry pedal? Simple 1 knobber for blend. Would it allow you to run stereo out. Pedal in question is the Rocktron Tru-Blend. Guts seem to show its buffered nicely with quality chips but that doesn’t answer the...
