Anyone ever had JLCPCB source components outside of the LCSC library (Mouser, for example) for the PCBA service? Any idea how this process works? I've done it with other fabricators but that involved working directly with a project manager, never a self-service site like JLCPCB.

How are you folks handling component footprint rotation with JLC's assembly service? Are you correcting the orientation with JLC's graphical tool or modifying your footprints to match their zero orientation?

I've noticed that the default KiCad grid sizes are in metric values (2.5mm) rather than Imperial (2.54mm) so standard DIP footprints (and others) aren't lining up with the grid. How are you folks working with this? Rolling on with 2.5mm or adding a 2.54mm grid option?
