Changed some resistors and a cap for Silver Pony specs. Also change the 3n9 cap to 8n2. Building another one with original specs for comparison.

It is readily available online for about $3-5. It is called a LM2596 Step Down Converter.

Anyone notice that the new Alpha Potentiometers(without the dust covers) from Tayda feels loose? The older stock with the dust covers feels better and doesn't slide easily when turned. Better stickier "feel" in my opinion.

What would be the advantages and disadvantages of these opamps? Let's start with the RAT. Original uses LM308/OP07. The EHX Flatiron used LM741.

The 4pdt switch I got seems to be taller. Adding the thicker enclosures from Tayda(not complaining), the potentiometer shafts and the 1p8t rotary threads can’t get through the holes. Had to unsolder… unsolder 27 legs and lift them up a bit from the pcb.

Would this be how the Dry Out switch is done? Potentiometer’s leg 3 is lifted from the pcb. On Dry Out 1 and 2 are shorted. On mixed Leg 3 is connected to Pad 3 on the PCB.
