Would it be sensible to have the 470p cap on a bright switch? Maybe even a on/off/on switch with two different cap values?

So have you tried to compare with a standard garden variety TL072 to the 3260 opamp, seeing that you have it in a socket? I have built one using a TL072 and of course I loose sleep every second night wondering if it is close enough to what it could be should be and all.... :ROFLMAO: Wondering...

I do think the question of "need' has long sailed and been replaced by "let's do it anyway".... ;)

Looks and sounds fab! Great build and demo! Why does this have a quad 074? On the PPCB schematic of the OD1 it has only one dual opamp (4558)?
