I know this is an old thread and that I asked about tips in another thread but just came upon this one because I’m still struggling with tips. I use the T18-B Conical with the .5mm radius and still have trouble with bridges in tight spaces. @Robert are you saying you use or did use this big tip...

I didn’t see this anywhere in the search box. I’m working on the Cast Iron Overdrive which calls for 2 RC4559P IC’s. Stompboxparts only has 1 in stock and you have to buy 5 anyways. What would be the closest alternative? Anyone built this pedal using something different? Thanks in advance.

That little bit sticking out the back must be a problem on TIGHT boards? Guess I’m one of the few that’s not bothered by the exposed threads…or maybe it’s just been a while since I’ve seen them. I’ve only ever seen them on Skreddy pedals but that was a while ago.

Redemption! First time I built this little circuit something went wrong and I couldn’t even reach unity gain! Now I can shake the whole damn house! Versatile little boost with tons of output. You can run it as a dirty Electra or a clean SHO. Not sure where this will be going in the chain yet...

I still need to re-build this one. I love a COT, Electra variant, first in chain pushing other overdrives. Not sure how close the Electra part of this circuit is to a COT though I’m sure the SHO is much stronger. The COT seems to work better with your volume knob.

He isn’t that I’m aware of it’s a pic of the DLS Roto-Spin that I posted as a joke. I believe he has the Option 5 destination single but I don’t know if he has plans to trace it or not.

I agree. I use a conical .5mm on a Hakko fx888 which is probably too big. I tried a sharp conical .2mm but had a REALLY tough time getting enough solder flow.

I’ve had both the single and the stereo versions of those. Great pedals. I’ve made the rounds with almost all the rotary pedals and stuck on the old Boss RT-20 lol. Here’s a pic of the bigger DLS Roto-Spin. 😳
