I’ve always been curious in that 2B boost pedal/limiter. Can it actually be used to “soften” the peaks adding a touch of sag or rectifier type touch to it?

Little late but sounds great and excellent playing. @GizzWizzKing @MichaelW Did you guys ever figure what was contributing to the distinct tone? It’s probably the YouTube conversion but almost sounds like it has something giving it a little sag as well like a rectifier.

Agreed. I’m not fully aware of the other because I was in such awe of the Purple. Ended up buying an old BC-9 which is great and all but that video of the Purple sounded like the chrorus/flange I’ve been chasing for years. A mix between CE-1 and Mistress. I’ll help if there’s anything I’m can do.

I suppose a pcb would be a part. Anyone have a pcb of the Skidmark Pedals “Purple” dual analog chorus? Seems to be all the information for the project in its thread but no layout. Surely one exists?

I get these noises as well. I believe it’s mostly to do with the charge pumps. I’ve tried everything. Usually there’s a pedal before or afterwards I can engage that’s buffered that helps quite a bit with the noise. A klon buffer has helped some.

800ms of delay with 2 MN3005 bbds is really pushing it. I’ve owned a few of those M118s over these years the Reticon chips. You can use the trimmer to increase delay time, as you stated, but you’ll introduce more noise and other artifacts. Those M118s were dark and murky which how I find the...

@vigilante398 What’s stock preset for the “ATTE”? Assume it attenuation? My Elenentary is a good bit hotter than I expected lol. Maybe that’s why there was a 12AU7 tube in at first.

@vigilante398 Excellent job on the Elementary. I immediately took the 12AU7 out because I wanted to hear how it was intended. Great as a boost or an od/distortion but still, as with the PA, I like to keep the gain relatively low and run dirt pedals into it for slightly dirty tube boost...

I was under the impression that the Cattle Driver and MOSFET Driver were two completely different takes on the butler td and that Jon Patton did the original MOSFET Driver. Man I feel like a dumb***Mustve crossed my wires somewhere. My apologies for being stupid.
