I circled a few places in white that I think you might want to reflow the solder on. There are others that look similar, I just circled these quickly to show what I'm talking about. They don't look like they are making good contact. It could just be the photo, but that's what I'm seeing.

I built one of these and I love what it does when I play slide. It compresses beautifully and I can grit with the input knob.

The general rule of thumb for me is that a Ge Fuzzface style works best with the fuzz control dimed. The Si-style sounds wonky with the fuzz control dimed. I back mine off just a little bit at a time to find a sweet spot. Very cool to hear @drew.spriggs solution.

I built one and have several other RM circuits to compare. The Rangefinder is great. It's easy to bias the transistor and the many tones available with the rotary switch make it quite flexible and useful.

I’m planning on putting one in a Clandestine Boost. I want a little more volume to use it as a crunchy boost and I’m hoping this little board will do the job. I’m just trying to decide if I want to add a pot that I can adjust externally. And where to locate it.
