Parentheses Fuzz with Intelligent Relay Bypass

I looked through and briefly thought there was something wrong with my R5 resistor. My pedal doesn't sound too bad but the octave pot still acts as a volume. I posted in that thread with a link to this thread. IDK I'm starting to go a little crazy.

    SOLVED Parenthesis octave problem

I hope you don't mind me jumping on. I have been trying to figure out what is wrong with my life pedal for some time now. Here is the full thread for details. https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/parentheses-fuzz-with-intelligent-relay-bypass.16594/page-2#post-200706 but I am also having the...

Parentheses Fuzz with Intelligent Relay Bypass

Oh well on one side of R7 is 9v and the other side is 6.3. Should I replace R7?

Parentheses Fuzz with Intelligent Relay Bypass

Wouldn't the resistor of 22k (R7) drop the voltage?

    Convert 4dpt on/off/on to on/on?

I have seen some verified posts, I just wanted to rule this out before I started to try to figure things out.

    Convert 4dpt on/off/on to on/on?

Yeah I am starting to realize that. I feel like their boards are easier to solder as the holes are bigger, but the quality is really lacking.

    Convert 4dpt on/off/on to on/on?

Is there a quick and easy way to convert a 4dpt on/off/on to on/on? I accidently installed a on/off/on and I think its causing issues with the pedal.

Parentheses Fuzz with Intelligent Relay Bypass

That's what I was thinking, the squeal isn't super loud but it does change tone when I move the oct pot.

Parentheses Fuzz with Intelligent Relay Bypass

Hey, sorry I lost a little motivation and took a break. So, I socketed Q2 through Q3 ( I flipped them around to see if that was an issue too) and I am still getting the same effect. The tone of the squeal changes when I move the oct pot.

No it just acts like a volume control.

ok I do have dry guitar coming out of octave pot leg 1 & 2 after socketing Q2. Usually I don't have this hard of a time lol.

Parentheses Fuzz with Intelligent Relay Bypass

No, nothing out of the octave pot. I keep coming back to Q2 as that has absolutely no sound coming out of it at all. I might pull it and socket it. Somewhere between C3 and Q2 I am losing the sound. maybe having the wrong resistors busted it or something.

Parentheses Fuzz with Intelligent Relay Bypass

So, I turned up the gain on my probe and was able to hear sound coming out of Q4 and Q3. So I plugged it in regular and a weird thing happened. When I turn off the boost side I got this like old internet connection type sound. I am going to keep checking all my components. I am using the OP07.

Ok now I am confused, I replaced those resistors but still get no sound after C3.

Let led me right to my issue. Every single 47R and 47K I mixed up. I am going to redo these and then try the bypass again. I was building another one for a friend and I managed to do those resistors correct.
