    Order Switcher Orientation

That's my plan. I just needed to know which way was which.

    Order Switcher Orientation

Hi, friends! I’m installing a PedalPCB order switcher in a dual-effect build. Which circuit is first in the chain when the toggle switch is in the up position? S1/R1 or S2/R2? It appears to be #1, but I want to confirm before creating a label for the pedal. Thanks!

Volume Pot on an Acrobat (PDF-2)

Beautiful! Now that I'm looking at it more closely, the output boost board wouldn't fit the Acrobat build, unless I used a larger enclosure and put it off to the side. I'd rather just add the volume pot. Thanks, friend!

Volume Pot on an Acrobat (PDF-2)

I’m interested in the Stone Deaf FX PDF-2 (a.k.a. Acrobat), but I noticed that it lacks a volume knob. I am thinking about using a 3PDT Breakout Board with Output Boost to give it a volume knob that can go below unity or push it into insane territory. Does this sound like a reasonable idea, or...

    MicroBlend BOM

Thanks, Robert! Why does it need an XLR?

Translating a Schematic into Physical Reality

Thanks! I noticed. I already made the notes in my BOM for the project. I'm mostly doing this to expand my learning, but I do like the Fortin mod more than the base Tube Screamer circuit.

Oh, wow! Perfect information! Thank you, Feral Feline. You get ten gold stars! 👊🏻😁

Translating a Schematic into Physical Reality

Hi friends! I have a Little Green Scream Machine (TS808) PCB. PedalPCB also sells the Mean Green Metal Machine (Fortin Modded Tubescreamer), which I love! But I want to try to do the Fortin mod on the Little Greem Scream Machine myself. Looking at the schematics (attached), I see the main...

    MicroBlend BOM

I'm really interested in the MicroBlend Crossfader, even though I don't own any SMD components. Is there a BOM available somewhere so I can source components before I pick up a few of these units?

SOLVED Gain Pot (Knob) Does Nothing

    Ha! Okey-dokey. Thanks!

SOLVED Gain Pot (Knob) Does Nothing

It took a lot of practice. I use a Word doc. I insert a picture of the drill template from the build guide, then put a rectangle with rounded corners over it. The rectangle's dimensions are 2.44" (W) x 4.64" (H). Then I insert text boxes for each of the knob labels. Next, I insert an image...

SOLVED Gain Pot (Knob) Does Nothing

Yeah, I know. I don't plan on selling it or anything. After a couple hundred builds, I became concerned that I'd eventually start forgetting what some of the pedals were based on. You've been at this longer than me, though. Is that something I could get prosecuted for, Nostradoomus?

SOLVED Gain Pot (Knob) Does Nothing

Holy moly, it worked! Thanks, bro! I was wracking my brain trying to figure out what I'd missed.

SOLVED Gain Pot (Knob) Does Nothing

I decided to build the Virgil today. (Bad monkey! Bad!) Everything works fine other than the gain knob, which does nothing. What I have currently is a limited EQ pedal. Level, low, and high pots all work, but the gain does nothing. The sound is clear and clean. I resoldered that section of the...

TS-50 from AionFX passes signal, but NOISY!

Bro! That sounds great! Yeah, I wasn't saying it was "underwhelming". I like the sound of the circuit. My problem is that I have a crazy amount of static noise that's almost as loud as the desired active voice. Like I said, I'm going to try and work on it tomorrow morning, if time permits. I...

TS-50 from AionFX passes signal, but NOISY!

Thanks for the response! It doesn't sound underwhelming. In fact, the sound of the circuit is unique, biting without being too piercing. I like it! It's just that the static noise is nearly half the volume (or more) of the circuit sound.
