    Southern Belle EQ

So, a friend who has built pedals since the 80s, suggested changing C3 to a .047µf. This totally got rid of the woofy bass that I couldn't dial out. I'm using an SG with PAFs to test this pedal, so no low massive low end coming from the guitar.

    Southern Belle EQ

I threw together a Southern Belle Saturday. I used 4148s instead of BAT41s ( I didn't have any-I may put them on a switch). I like the quality of the distortion, but the eq range is not right. When the treble is right, it's too woofy, and when the bass is right, it'ss really bright. Any ideas on...

    Mahayana VERY midrangey

Ooops sorry! I changed the volume pot to an A100k like the original. The build doc calls for a B100k

    Mahayana VERY midrangey

So I changed the pot to an A500k and that was it!! They’re not exactly the same, but they’re not MILES apart.

    Mahayana VERY midrangey

I used the NE5532p… I just noticed that this build uses a B100k for the volume. I’m going to try an A100k like the original…

    Mahayana VERY midrangey

I will check that. I’m pretty sure the bag says 100p… I mistakenly ordered 400V…

    Mahayana VERY midrangey

I built the Mahayana. Unfortunately, I have a Hermida Zendrive to compare it with. It has a similar quality, but it’s way louder and tube screamer mid rangey, where the original one is not. Any ideas for changing the EQ (voice)? Thanks

    Mini Muffin Fuzz pot

I've built a couple of these and I really like the circuit. I would like to replace the 100K volume pot with a resistor and lock it wide open. I never turn it down anyway... Do I put the 100k resistor across the in/out of the where the pot would go on the pcb (lugs 2 &3)?
