Here’s a fun alternative to the Muff Fuzz circuit using the muff fuzz pcb and a muff tone control. This has become my favorite distortion pedal. Please post your versions/ mods here if you do so indulge.

I built a “electro distortion” style boost (w/+w/o clipping) after the squid board in the same enclosure and it mellows and exaggerates the squid pretty well. Using correct input and output caps for the boost is pretty key.

is this what you’re kinda referencing? I have the same question, I’m guessing if u copy this presence control from the MI audio schematic into the A C it should get u close. I’m guessing putting it in after the EQ section and b4 the output Vol.
