This is a sweet build! I really like the enclosure - is it a hammond sloped enclosure you've painted? I need to have another look and try to debug my xenotron build, IIRC I really wasn't getting as much effect as I expected and thought there may be an issue with the BBD chip.

I found that the drill template for the jacks (certainly for the jacks I had from Musikding) was slightly off, and I had to modify it to get everything to fit. It must have been an absolute nightmare to get the expr and loop jacks wired up on their side like that - well done. Build looks great!

I've not come across them before - I've got countersink bits with the fluted tips that have never really worked well, but these look like they'd be way better. I'm stuck with a hand drill until I've got space for a drill press.

I normally get this effect when using the stepped cone bits to drill out larger holes, but I think I'd probably manage it with the tip of a broader drill bit for these 3mm holes. Main difficulty is keeping it consistent when drilling, so it might be better twirling the bit by hand to deburr...
