It was a TL071 I’d tried. I got myself mixed up.

@hamerfan you know, I was typing that while away from home. I did a little googling, and I think I need to check when I get home. I might have been using the wrong op amp. The 72 is definitely the dual op amp version. Not sure if I was mixed up or using the wrong op amp😬

I love the Muroidea as well. Absolutely stands up to the vintage RAT for sure. I’ve yet to try it with a TL071. I’ve tried a TL072. I actually really like a 741 in it. Makes it a little lower gain, and not quite the same feeling of sag, but I like it as an alternate option.

Did you take the measurements from the build doc template or did you make the measurements?

This is my current build too. Finished drilling the enclosure. Excited to get to soldering. Those Love My Switches foot switches are so nice. I’m curious; by “predrilled” do you mean someone else did the drilling and powder coating specifically for your project? If so, where did you get that done?

@drgonzo1969 Yes!The yellow wire was a ⚡️ 🧠 I really like the minimalism of the plain black enclosure, but I’m having a blast using the knobs, LEDs, and now the wires as expressive elements. Even if I’m the only one that knows about the wires, it’s mojo!
