I built this a while ago, worked fine for a long time. Now it seems to have very low output. The bypass signal is louder than with the pedal engaged and the level and gain cranked. Anyone else experience this?

So the circuit seems to be working properly but the led stays green until a certain point of turning the threshold clockwise then it turns red. There is no change in its status as you introduce guitar signal. I assume it’s supposed to be red when the gate is engaged and green when it opens up...

Haha shit, now im wondering what polarity for the clipping led's should be. Im all sorts of mixed up on this one.

Right on, thanks for the reply. It just got me confused being i don't usually see 5817's used other than for protection.

So, i have a board that has labels for 5817's for all the diodes, but the build docs call for 4148's. Do i have an older version of the circuit or is it a misprint on the board?

I'm wondering how much of a difference there would be to put a B taper in there instead? I have the same issue guys.

Would that explain why mine doesnt pulsate? I just put a regular pot in and disregarded the other 3 holes.

What would it take to add a headphone Jack to this circuit. Theoretically, would the normal output be enough to drive headphones?

Looking at the schematic, it looks as though this should run off an 18v power supply. Confirm?

So I have power, led works, i have signal whether the pedal is on or if it's in bypass, but it has no effect on the sound. The only thing that happens when you crank all the knobs is more noise, but there is no reverb happening. I'm wondering if the reverb module itself is not working.

Never mind. Figured it out. Those are using 1/8w instead of 1/4w resistors. DETAILS! haha

What's up with the smaller footprint for resistors on some of these boards? Ex. The photon vibe and the bass preamp Have smaller footprint than the Triangulum or the little green scream machine.

Right on, yeah that's the thing I was questioning about it. I may just finish my builds without the key input anyway. Not really sure how useful it'll be for guitar rigs anyway.
