    PCB RFC - Grindhaus Fuzz

Thanks for the feedback, here's the newest revision. I moved the toggle switches up some, reoriented some resistors and capacitors and have gotten a better copper fill on both front and back.

    PCB RFC - Grindhaus Fuzz

Agreed, I was working on that after posting this last image. It's a never ending improvement cycle... Good idea, I'll take a look at moving those around and get some more ground plane fill. Nice! I'll definitely see about a bit more refinement in that area. Can you explain this a bit more...

    PCB RFC - Grindhaus Fuzz

And here is the near final revision. I'm going to make sure the spacing is 2.54mm between pads on top and bottom, create a sweet faceplate then send them off to JLPCB and see what we get. :) And again, if you see anything that looks suspicious, let me know so I can improve it.

    PCB RFC - Grindhaus Fuzz

Devi Ever was infamous for (re)using blocks in their fuzz designs. The Hyperion is very close to two other fuzzes and the switch (being on/off/on) will let you choose between Hyperion, Ruiner, or Bass Ruiner.

    PCB RFC - Grindhaus Fuzz

Thanks again! KiCAD is definitely a learning curve from EasyEDA where I used to make my PCBs. I'll probably clean up the routes again cause I'm not super happy with the ground pours and the way Q4 worked out. I'll throw a name on everything along with a revision.. I'm thinking "The Everlasting...

    PCB RFC - Grindhaus Fuzz

After @z2amiller's feedback, here's the next revision. I also added a pull-down resistor. Once the routing looks good, I'll work on cleaning up the text, etc. Thanks! Keep the critiques coming. :)

    PCB RFC - Grindhaus Fuzz

After seeing the DOD Grindhaus Fuzz show up in the wish list section and reading up on it and figured I'd make a version of it. I based it off of the Hype Fuzz from FuzzDog, tossed in the Big Muff tone stack (with the ability to bypass), and then the make up boost as seen in the DOD Grindhaus...

    DF-2 Super Feedbacker and Distortion

Built this from a Guitar PCB Mania PCB since PedalPCB didn't have a board available. It was a straightforward build but it barely fits in a 1590BB. Overall it sounds like the real thing and is a lot of fun to play. I'm giving it a 4/5 cause making it fit in the case is a total pain. Went with a...

    LectricFX Altered State Phaser

This was a rather fun build..I had to order a bunch of 1/8w resistors to do this one (I also built the Schu-tone DM-3 at the same time) and then fiddle with the offboard wiring and toggle switch to get the vibe mod into it. I've been listening to The White Stripes recently so their asthetic...

    Tone Vendor MK1 transistor options

I'm sure you could and I know AionFX has some suggested values for the readings on the transistors for what they consider spec. However, I generally just go by sound -- if I like the way it sounds, I call it done even if it is a mis-biased. Here's a build report that has a lot of info...

    Tone Vendor MK1 transistor options

    Since I mentioned MKI, here are the suggested specs I have for MKII: TransistorhFELeakage (uA) Q160 - 90< 200 Q270 - 120200 - 400 Q3110 - 170100 - 300

    Tone Vendor MK1 transistor options

For MkI I've got these notes for hfe ranges: Q1: 55 - 80 Q2: 65-100 Q3: 100-140 Also, replacing Q2's collector resistor (r5) with a trimmer to bias Q2 correctly can help. That said, I'd socket the transistors so you can audition them for the best sound.

Elk Super Fuzz Sustainar (Japanese Big Muff clone)

Great work! Thanks to Boris I went down a path of purchasing and building a ton of Elk Sustainers and it's one of my favorite Big Muff variants.

    PCBGuitarMania Lemon Bass

Nice build through all the pain. I'd definitely shy away from them but I've built a lot of PCBs from them and only one I couldn't get working well. For the Darkglass stuff, I'd look at AionFX's versions of them. Those do work and are a breeze to put together.

Sunflower Fuzz - Low, Gated Output, bias trim not working

Just to add on to what swelchy said, this is one of those circuits that is best to breadboard first to make sure your transistors are going to work in it or socket both the transistors so that you can plug and play different ones until it works.

    (FD) BRAIN BOMB

This is one of my favorite modulation circuits from SeppukuFX that you can get a clone of. Not quite as weird as Cassette or Memory Loss but loads more usable. Awesome job on the graphics.

    Cross Contaminator

I did and I would have but I had some foot switch breakout boards I had made and just hadn't used. Desoldering a 1 cent resistor wasn't worth the time or effort.

What are the main measurements you need? I've got a backlog of Deadend FX PCBs that I need to box up and was starting down this path myself.
