SOLVED Chop Shop gain not working

Yes, they were presoldered SMDs from PedalPCB. I’m ordering another Chop Shop PCB, and I plan on building that one with some InterFET J201s that I purchased from Mouser and trim pots in place of the drain resistors. Thanks again!

SOLVED Chop Shop gain not working

Thanks guys! I swapped the B10K and increased the drain resistors (to 15K, as Chuck D. Bones recommended), and everything works well. Drain voltage was reading right at 6.0V on Q1 and Q2. The pedal sounds great. I ordered some Trimmit adapters for the next build, as that would've really come...

SOLVED Chop Shop gain not working

Drain voltages with the SAG fully CCW are 7.45V and 7.19V on Q1 and Q2, respectively. Incoming power is 9.22V at the jack. Thanks!

SOLVED Chop Shop gain not working

Thank you! I may have an issue with the B10K pot, and I should’ve checked it before I soldered it. I’ll try to swap it out. I’m using the presoldered SMD from PedalPCB, but I’ve used the Mouser InterFET J201s with success in the past also. I’m experiencing gradual loss of volume without...

SOLVED Chop Shop gain not working

Would this also apply to the Sag potentiometer (except at the Sag pots 10k value)? I’m getting some strange readings from pins 1 to 3 on the Sag pot, it I couldn’t remember if these resistance readings could be taken if it was already in the circuit. Thanks!

SOLVED Son of Ben Preamp Issues

I attempted a Son of Ben preamp and read most of the existing threads concerning JFET biasing during the build. I'm getting power to the LED, but no sound when the pedal is engaged. When the pedal is off, I'm getting sound to the amp. If anyone has any insight, I'd really appreciate it...
