How does it sound for you? It looks like a boosted germanium fuzz face with a lot of EQ, but tuned for metal? I haven't seen any commercial PCB's anywhere. I'll probably have to try a stripboard build.

They haven't had the old "glowing" (not new "glow") neon green, orange, and pink in some time. I've bought examples of all three, and they looked great.

Revisiting my old build, I see Res#1 on row B (ground) , where all schematics I've seen say it should go to Vref , which is row C. The layout I used looks just like the one posted by NickC, except the filter lugs are reversed. The only clone PCB's I know of are BYOC and Lectric FX

Does anyone know how the second output on the original Meatbox is connected? I built one on stripboard that matches the Lectric-FX schematic. I didn't like it as a straight up octave pedal, but using a separate splitter with a direct line going into the board, sounds massive.

Is that a PNP GT402, instead of 404, which is NPN? I see the charge pump, and the 2n1307 is PNP. I built a great sounding NPN Dizzytone with GT402B and a pair of MP38's. Does the Buzzaround sound any different?

Yes, that's it. I'll try to draw what I think is going on. The mid control is the one I'm least sure of. Was the character/art part of your order? The rest sound wild. The stock Witchfinder alone has so much going on.

What are some of the customs you have? The Wraith is a Rat with HM-2 tone, that's interesting. The one I'd really like to see some day is the Fuzzthrone Deluxe (Fuzz Face+Muff gain stage) with the rotary caps/clipping. I must have missed that one, though I did see the PCB on the big Talkbass...

It reminds me of the VFE Focus. I also built a a Standout, and although the board says v2.2, it has a different layout with only one toggle switch to control both passes. I got it way back and the instructions gave choices for voltage and op amp. What did you go with?

Where is the Mondo Power? What did you think of the Apostle, do you run it into an amp or as a preamp? A couple of the new things are a modded Metal Zone and a Mesa Mark IV emulation with graphic and paramatric EQ's for the Master of Puppets sound.
