18v for Simple Relay Bypass (Latching)?

From the little bit I've found, it sounds like you can use the Latching Simple Relay Bypass boards with pedals you want to run off an 18v power supply, but just want to make sure it's safe before trying it out (assuming caps are sufficiently rated and everything). Also, does anyone know the total power consumption (mA) of one of these?
 
Yep, that's what the 9V regulator is for.

I'll have to measure one to see what the current consumption is. I've been focusing on the current of the non-latching version.
