Sometimes I take a break from my ususal "build all the fuzzes" programme and try something else. Here we have two vero designs I saw on dirtboxlayouts.
Both are delays, based on the PT2399.
First up is something based on the Seppuku Memory Loss. A mix knob has been added, which is a good thing. It has a LM386 and the dirt switch uses that option (connect pins 1 and 8). The Filter switch effects the repeats as in "clean, dirty, very dirty". But the real star of this thing is the Stability knob that defines what signal strenght is needed to short out the PT2399, that then has to kinda reset itself. In practive that means, a strong signal has no delay and when it fades out, the delay kicks in. Somehow counterintuitive at first, but a lot of fun to play bass lines and having the delay struggling to creep in between notes.
Then, a "Pladask Elektrisk Workshop Delay". This one is a bit more of a standard lo-fi PT2399 thing, I'd say. The "Modulation" is, well, interesting, not smooth and most of time sounds more like noise then modulation to my ears. Nevertheless it adds a nice texture to the whole thing. The second footswitch with the weird label is a "momentary feedback maximum" that sends the circuit into oscillation.
