3PDT board question on naming across brands

I have used a Pedal PCB board and that worked just fine on my Mach One overdrive. But I was gifted a pedal kit from another company and am having trouble understanding what each connection does because they are labeled differently (and a bonus LED question).

On the PCB itself, there are six slots at the bottom: IN, CTRL, GND, LED+, LED-, BP, OUT.

The 3PDT board has these: IN, FXIN, LED, GND, FXOUT, OUT.

I cannot find a schematic for this board on the other company's site, maybe they've either updated their board or sent me a new one and haven't updated the listing online yet. Either way, what connects to what? And a brief explanation would be welcome as I'm trying to learn, not just have someone do my homework for me.

Also, on my first build, the LED light is blinding. As I understand it, I can use something like a 3k9 resistor on one of the legs of a red LED, I can dim that a bit? But maybe more importantly, how does the LED wire from this PCB board to the 3PDT board? Am I right in imagining that maybe I send two wires out from the PCB to the LED and those also connect to the 3PDT switch? Does the LED itself go inbetween the PCB and 3PDT board, or can it come off one or the other once they're connected? This one's just less clear to me than the PPCB build I have already done, and I've spent some time reading up again this afternoon and still can't quite seem to understand these labels and what connects to what for what reason.

Thank you!

Sounds like an Ion board.

I would just send the company your question about the board and see what they say.
Yeah, I'll do that but I was hoping for an explanation on what these mean, or if it's just different terms for the same thing. I've just not done enough of these to know what's standardized and what's not since I also have a couple PPCB 3PDT boards and could possibly in the future find myself mixing brands if that's just what I have around.

For the PCB:
In - effect signal in
Ctrl - the switch that connects LED cathode to gnd
Led+, Led- the led itself
Bp - ??
Out - effect signal out

For 3pdt:
In - Jack In
Fxin - to board in
Led - the ctrl signal
Gnd - ground from board
Fxout - effect out
Out - jack out

If you're still new to this, pick up a couple boards from Aionfx - his board docs are very thorough and friendly to newcomers who aren't familiar enough to be able to put the pieces together on your own.

I hope you can understand that without any info on what board you have or the ability to trace it, no one is going to be able to help you decipher every term on your board. This is why you should email the maker directly.

I finally figured out it came from PCB Mania and their wiring instructions were mostly helpful. The 3PDT switch board I have is a copy of the one on Page 4, so I was able to account for all the matching connections other than BP on the actual PCB board of their 1991 Drive, which maybe is battery power and would need to connect to the positive end of a battery connection? Anyway, if it ever helps anyone else looking for documentation on that exact version: https://pcbguitarmania.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Pedal-Wiring-Guide-1.pdf
