... They take their place on a quite large PCB and are joined by 5 potentiometers and a toggle switch. While some wires and hardware casually show up, a trimmer sneaks in when nobody is looking.
All this stuff and it is "just" a Fuzz & Octaver .... but with built in compressor and some sort of fancy filter to provide exceptionally good tracking.
It's the "Downtown" from Lectric FX, a replica of the EH-5950 Deluxe Octave Multiplexer.
Probably the most complex build I've done so far and therefore I was a bit nervous when firing it up - but good news everybody: it works and sounds great.
Going own 2 octaves might be a bit pointless on bass, but I'm looking forward to put it a my guitarists feet for a test drive at decent volume.
