My daughter was leaving so I walked her out to her car. I was telling her about the baby mockingbirds I saw hopping around the front yard earlier. As she was pulling out I was wandering around the front yard to see if I could spot them.

It wasn't until I was back inside that I realized I still had my Opti-Visor jacked up on my head. I can only imagine driving by the house during this.

I'm keeping up the pace that all the old farts before me have so graciously set.
 
I want to read this thread title as Alanis Morissette. That got me thinking about "You Oughta Know" which is a song that isn't really up my alley but that I love because of the wacky ass bass line that sputters in and out throughout the song. The only time that is a "pop song bass line" (which is what I expect in this song) is in the chorus and then you look at the liner notes and it all makes perfect sense because it's fucking FLEA playing the bass on the recording!

Sorry, that didn't really have anything to do with this thread, but, then again, I kind of feel like that's the point of this thread, so I don't feel all that off topic....
 
@Paradox916 Came to me a couple days ago out of the blue: "I haven't listened to Gogol Bordello in AGES..."

I was going to stick it in the "What Are You Listening to Right Now?" thread, but this thread popped on the radar. 📡
