Aberration fuzz bias

Hi, from prior threads it looks like I need to bias the MP38 germanium transistor via the trim pot. Using my multimeter, what pin of the transistor do I attach the positive to and what voltage should I aim for? Thanks in advance

You will put the positive lead of the DMM on the transitor collector leg. Black lead from DMM to ground. Set DMM to read DC voltage. Adjust the trim pot so it reads -4.5V.

Thank you, just finished putting it together and biased it per your reply. I'm shocked at how good this sounds and how reactive it is to playing dynamics.
