I built an Abyss (The Depths) several months ago and it's been on my pedalboard since. I've had a problem come up all of a sudden I haven't experienced before.
I lose a whole lot of treble when I switch the effect on. It's like I've put a blanket over the speaker or turned my guitar's tone all the way down. All the knobs are functioning as expected, except it's like there's a master treble control that's been turned down to 0. It "works", but doesn't sound at all right.
This happens even when I turn the Intensity/Depth knob all the way down so there's zero warble mixed in. Of course, there's no issue when bypassed.
This wasn't my neatest build, but I don't see anything obvious inside that looks off. The LED seems to be working normally when I adjust the Voice and Rate knobs.
Anyone had anything like this before? I'm a bit stumped as to how to troubleshoot.
