Adding a buffer to fuzz with pickup simulator?

Hi all,

I'm building a Tactical Fuzz (Thorpy Tacit Blue), which is basically an NPN Ge Fuzz Face with a 42TL019 transformer. I also have a C-Buffer board that I never got around to installing in anything.

Would it be unwise to build the C-Buffer into the fuzz? I like the idea of having it at the front of my chain, but I know buffers in front of FF's is generally a no-no. Does the pickup simulator negate that?

Thanks!

You could build a small loop into the pedal, run the FF in the loop.
When the FF is bypassed the buffer is on,
when the FF is on the Buffer is off...

Euna what? That's not a buffer idea!

Anyways, otherwise, seems like a waste of the buffer board.
