I've loved this pedal for a few years but lately I've wanted more subtle depth and even at off this doesn't seem to get subtle enough. Wondering if changing the Depth pot from 1KB to 2 or 5 KB would be enough?

I have disconnected the rate LED cause it was driving me bonkers.

The Depth control is set up as a voltage divider, so the value isn't going to be critical. If you want more control at shallower depths, I'd recommend replacing the B1k pot with an A1k pot. This will have all the same range, but the lower settings will take up a greater portion of the travel, making them easier to dial in. Decreasing R13 will lower the minimum depth, but you run the risk of popping your LED if you go too low.

That makes sense, and I can see the workings of the circuit a bit better, ty.

Other than swapping in a 1kA I'm guessing the circuit might be as good as it gets. With the depth all the way down it's still not what I'm looking for.

Maybe I could look for another tremolo that can do really subtle stuff, different circuit.
